ウィル・オー・ザ・ウィスプ or „will-o’-the-wisp“ was recorded in July 2019 at Yamaneko-ken, a cabin in the woods of Saitama prefecture and remote concert space. tamayurahitode, tamayurakurage and Florian Walter initially met in Tokyo in 2017 and quite naturally formed a trio over time. Their music is equally informed by concepts of Improvised Music as well as Japanese traditional music, harsh noise and also dynamics, structures and pacing of Nō theatre and ancient Japanese tales.
